Hoppy Easter (I couldn’t resist)

‘Tis the season to cower in terror as the kids eat enough processed sugar to send their eyes looking off in different directions…that is, if their eyes don’t do that naturally.
It’s Easter Sunday, and we just finished taking some video footage of our first official major holiday as a family – Easter. I know, some of you are saying that St. Paddy’s Day is a major holiday, but the only thing people give away on that day is pinches to those who don’t celebrate it! Not my idea of fun. So we will consider this our first.
How entirely appropriate that our first holiday be one in which we celebrate be one that recognizes the Resurrection, a renewal of life. Johanna are excited to be starting our new life together, and each night after the kids go to bed, our conversation turns to how wonderful married life is. Johanna especially. That’s not to say that I don’t think it is absolutely AMAZING myself, but I think her perspective is different from mine in ways that I couldn’t possibly understand…and the way she talks about it makes me think that she appreciates being married a LOT. I can bet part of it is because she has help with the little rascals that the kids are turning into…especially James. Boy, that kid has a sweet tooth, and if he doesn’t get his candy 5 seconds ago, he lets you know exactly how unhappy he is.
