Scripture Stories
by Mike on Apr.21, 2008, under General, Kidz, Married Life
As a family, we are reading the scripture stories from the church web site, the ones that used to be found in the old “Book of Mormon Reader” that we all remember so well from childhood. For the longest time, I was sure that none of this was sinking in with the kids. Boy, was I wrong.
Hoppy Easter (I couldn’t resist)

‘Tis the season to cower in terror as the kids eat enough processed sugar to send their eyes looking off in different directions…that is, if their eyes don’t do that naturally.
I’m all moved out!

I have been eating an elephant these past couple of weeks. Mike and I are both in our shows, while trying to move my stuff out and in and working all at the same time. Here is an idea of how things have been. Mike wakes up at 6:00 am to get ready for work. I wake up a little bit after to get his lunch ready and get him out the door in time to either catch tracks or drive to work, (I have realized that when Mike gets on the computer in the morning he looses all sense of time) he is at work all day doing his thing. I Have my elephant to eat, you should see our house right now we have paths throughout the house and boxes everywhere else. This week I have been getting my apartment cleared out and cleaned. It is all done, yeah! Next week I get to tackle the boxes in the house. Anyway back to our day I kind of went off. Mike gets home at 6:00 to grab dinner, while I have to be at my play at 6:00 (I am usually late) Mike goes to his play, the kids are at the babysitter. Our shows end. I get the kids. We meet back at home at around 10:30 /11:00, we say prayer read scripture get to bet at around 12:00! It has been sooooooo crazy, and I miss my totally awesome husband.
On a really good note, last night was opening night for me. It was so fun! Practicing day in and day out got kind of old, but the end result was totally worth it. I won’t be doing this very often, because it is hard on the kids when I have to devote so much time to it, but I will defiantly be doing it again in the late future.
That is about it for now. Hope you liked this blog of mine, and Mike if you are reading this, I love you so much, thank you for being so totally awesome!!!!!!!
Happy Week-iversary!

We’ve been married a week! We got back from the honeymoon, hugged the kids to death when we got back, and got the honeymoon pictures developed…blasted fun-saver cameras take crappy pictures at night.
For Whom the Bell Tolls

I can’t sleep, it’s 6:00 AM and the clock on the wall is chiming a melancholy tune to remind me that the final hours of my “singlehood” are upon me. The kids will wake up in a couple of hours, I will feed them breakfast, take them to Grandma and Grandpa Dodge’s, where we will have lunch…then, the temple.
