Getting Caught-Up with Summer Pictures

We’re sure many of you are wondering why there are so few posts coming in here as of late. We may refer to it as the ‘Facebook effect’ – since the vast majority of our friends are on Facebook, a lot of the smaller updates go there, and the blog goes without updating. But every once in a while, we will get on here and post photos – because a lot of our extended family doesn’t do the whole Facebook thing, but they will visit the family website to see pictures of the kids. Things that go BUMP! in the night

The other night Johanna and I were talking before bed, and I put hand on her pumpkin-shaped belly…and BUMP! Like something out of Alien (except a whole lot less scary) her stomach was moving! I kept my hand there, just to be sure, and BUMP! There it went again!
It’s kinda exciting to feel the baby moving. She’s been telling me for months “He’s flipping somersaults in there!” but to actually experience it for myself, that’s something entirely new to me!

My my my…Has it been THAT long?!

So it’s been at least a month since I last wrote something on here, probably more. There has been so much that has happened in that amount of time, and if I don’t get some of it written, I will forget it all forever, and you all will have no clue what is going on in. The sun will fall from the sky, clowns will cease to be funny, BYU will start losing football games, and from there it’s all downhill until the end of the world. So here’s a brief rundown of major events since my last post.

Vacation and Stuff

On Aug 20th, I took the family on vacation to Pineview Reservoir. We would be there for four days, with oodles and oodles of time on the beach. We’d been planning it for over two months, and when the day finally arrived, my what a trip it was! And not necessarily in a good way.
