Just for you, Sister Dodge

Last week I made a promise that I would upload some more pictures of Glen for my sister Mary to see. I might be a week late, but I am a man of my word. Here are a few select photos of Glen for your viewing pleasure.

Don’t Drink the Water
by Mike on Feb.20, 2009, under Kidz
Once again, James is sick. He has been throwing up for two days (last night it was all over the bedsheets that we had just washed the day before). Right now it is so bad he can’t even keep down a drink for more than a few minutes. We are going to try some chicken broth by spoonfulls, just to try and get him some nourishment…but it makes me wonder if he will ever get the idea that drinking Chewie’s water is not good for him.
Granted, that might not be what happened this time…but he has a history of putting disgusting things in his mouth. Just the other day, I caught him licking the underside of the kitchen table. Who knows what kind of stuff you’d find there?!?!

Demoted…
by Mike on May.30, 2008, under General
It’s finally happened. For the past two nights, I have been demoted to sleeping on the couch. Who thought that only 3 months into marriage, I would find myself in this position. What did I do to deserve this kind of treatment (and believe you me, I deserve it?) Well, I will tell you. I told Johanna that we could keep her Double/Full bed instead of my Queen.

Aiden 6.0
by Mike on Apr.28, 2008, under General, Kidz
As of April 22, Aiden is officially a “Big Boy” meaning he can eat green beans without complaining, push in his own chair after dinner so Chewie doesn’t get up on the table, and lift objects as heavy as his little brother with little-to-no help from anyone else. It also means that we got to have a big birthday party on Saturday the 26th. Pictures to be uploaded shortly.

For Whom the Bell Tolls

I can’t sleep, it’s 6:00 AM and the clock on the wall is chiming a melancholy tune to remind me that the final hours of my “singlehood” are upon me. The kids will wake up in a couple of hours, I will feed them breakfast, take them to Grandma and Grandpa Dodge’s, where we will have lunch…then, the temple.
