Place your bets now!
by johanna on Dec.01, 2008, under General
Last night Mike told me and the kids to pick a number between 1 and 30. I chose 15 James chose 30, and Aiden chose 1, then he told us that that was our guess on when the baby will come. After Mike told me the reason for the numbers I changed mine to 25. Aim high I always say. So at game night we took down everyone’s guess. If you want to join the fun let us know quick because you never know with me. Both kids have come early! The closest one on the date gets a prize!
The Great Pumpkin

Every Halloween, the Great Pumpkin rises out of the Pumpkin Patch…and impales himself.
Okay, the story doesn’t really go like that, but Liz and Dad ought to get a chuckle out of it. But this blog post is really about letting everyone see the amazing “Pumpkin Carving of 2008″ that we just had.

We have two semi-new couches we got from Johanna’s sister Amanda for free-95, and yesterday Johanna actually rearranged the front room (or is it a family room, or a living room?) and it looks really nice.
Last night we went to see State Fair at the Sugar Factory Playhouse, and it was a pretty good show. Some of my old friends there haven’t seen me since I was a single, not-even-anyone-on-the-horizon sort of guy. Finding out that baby Dodge is on the way was a real shocker.
But even with all this great news, the most memorable part of the recent week was when we decided to take the kids to a free puppet show at the West Jordana library for Family Home Evening. It was the Starry-Eyed Puppet Show, and it was really something else. What made it so great? Well, let me tell you…
