Dodge Family News
by Mike on Nov.08, 2009, under General
Yesterday, we found a toy microphone while cleaning the house…and it led to a fun activity idea. I grabbed the camera, we set up a table and papers, and in no time we were filming “The Dodge Family News!” I doubt this will become a regular broadcast or anything, but the kids sure enjoyed it. A lot of fun. Here’s the low-quality version for online viewing pleasure.

We took these pictures a week or so ago, when it was my Birthday. Johanna brought home some cake from our dinner at Rodizio, and we decided to share with Glen. This is what Kodak was made for…though, our camera is Fujifilm…

Carrots and Potatoes, Glen Style

Mommy tried giving Glen some Carrots and Potatoes today, but he wasn’t digging it. He was, however, excited to try using the spoon for himself. Here’s the obligatory, oh-so-cute imagery of the event. The kid’s got mad motor skills – got the spoon into his mouth on the first try!

Normally I try to remember to call Johanna when I am leaving work, so she knows how long to cook dinner and when to expect me home. This day was no different…or so I thought.

frezzer recipe
by johanna on Jun.19, 2008, under General
As most of you know I LOVE to cook. I have been thinking about trying some recipes to freeze so I can pull out and bake. Here is my first recipe entry. (please note all recipes have been taste tested and will be really good) This is a recipe I do at my Pampered Chef cooking shows.
Caesar Chicken
2 lbs. frozen boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 (16 oz.) bottles Creamy Caesar Salad dressing
2-3 cloves freshly pressed garlic
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Optional: lettuce, box of croutons OR cooked pasta
Place frozen chicken into freezer bag; add garlic, cheese, and dressing. Coat chicken well. Squeeze air out of bag and freeze. Chicken will marinate as it defrosts in refrigerator for 24 hours. Remove chicken from bag and place in Stoneware Rectangular Baker. Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees for 45 minutes (30 minutes for tenderloins). SALAD: Slice chicken and serve warm over lettuce, tossed with dressing, Parmesan cheese and croutons. Or serve chicken over cooked pasta or rice!
enjoy! you can keep in freezer for up to three months!
