Every Halloween, the Great Pumpkin rises out of the Pumpkin Patch…and impales himself.
Okay, the story doesn’t really go like that, but Liz and Dad ought to get a chuckle out of it. But this blog post is really about letting everyone see the amazing “Pumpkin Carving of 2008″ that we just had.

So it’s been at least a month since I last wrote something on here, probably more. There has been so much that has happened in that amount of time, and if I don’t get some of it written, I will forget it all forever, and you all will have no clue what is going on in. The sun will fall from the sky, clowns will cease to be funny, BYU will start losing football games, and from there it’s all downhill until the end of the world. So here’s a brief rundown of major events since my last post.

It’s Conference Weekend! Well, almost…

Family is all about tradition, and there is one that I have had for a while which Johanna is happy to let me continue. No, I’m not talking about going to Arctic Circle for brown-toppers in silly hats, she’s not ‘happy’ to let me have that one, per se. No, I’m talking about my semiannual Conference Weekend Barbecue.
But this year, we have decided to put a little bit of a different spin on things. I don’t have a grill of my own that is worth of calling a grill (the Burgoyne’s are probably gonna need oxygen after hearing that one), so we have decided this year on Dutch Oven!
